Truro Tae Kwon-Do AcademyTruro Tae Kwon-Do Academy (Truro GTI) is a successful martial arts school that teaches the world famous Korean Art of Self-Defence, Tae Kwon-Do. Our taekwondo school offers a mix of both traditional and modern Tae Kwon-Do training. Students are able to learn the ancient methods of self-defence alongside more streetwise techniques. Modern fitness and competition training are also a major part of the syllabus, as is yoga and eastern philosophy. Sunday classes are mixed ability and mixed age group allowing families to train together and more able students are readily available to help the beginners. The Academy is part of the only organisation in Cornwall teaching the complete art of Tae Kwon-Do following the original traditional Tae Kwon-Do (ITF) syllabus, merged with the best parts of the newer sport-orientated WTF syllabus.
