.Torpoint Badminton Club Torpoint Badminton Club has recently moved to the brand new Torpoint & Rame Sports Centre in Torpoint. Before this we only had a 1 court hall and although it was a good court we were limited to the numbers we could cater for for playing/coaching/matches etc. Now in our brand new sports hall, we have 4 courts and we hope that the main club and also the junior club can flourish. We play in the Plymouth & District Badminton League which runs during the season (October - March) but the club runs right thought the year and play on a Wednesday night from 19:30. Visitors are very welcome to turn up and give us a try! The Junior Club does not start until October but will run from 18:30 until the main club starts at 19:30. The idea is that as they progress, with the help of our club coach they can join into the main club. Please come along as a visitor (£4 a night) and give Badminton a go. It is a ideal way to get and stay fit. We also run a social side to the club.
