New Explorer Unit opens

A new Explorer Scout Unit has been started up at Runcton Holme and is called the Koru-Inuit Unit. The new Unit is being led by Diane Rawlinson and Clive Corlette, formerly Scout leaders at 2nd Watlington and Runcton Holme.

SW Norfolk has Scout Groups in the following areas:

Ashill,Brandon,Downham Market,East Harling,Feltwell,Gt Hockham,Marham,Methwold,Mundford

Runcton Holme and Watlington,Swaffham,Thetford,Watton,Wereham And Wretton.

Plus our own Campsite at Two Mile Bottom, Thetford.

SW Norfolk District was formed in 2003 and currently has over 600 members, but there is always room for more.

This year we are building on the experiences of last year and the whole Centenary of Scouting. Next year we will be celebrating 100 years of scouting in Norfolk.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with administration roles as well as section leaders.
