itsmymarket.com selects SEO agency

12:00pm, Friday 28th September 2007

Free classifieds website itsmymarket.com has selected SEO and online brand positioning agency Netrank to drive growth and increase incrementally the number of classified ads placed on the site.

Already Netrank has secured two first page positions for the competitive keywords 'classified listings' and 'classified ads' and a number of page two positions.

itsmymarket.com was launched in August 2006 to provide a localised classified service throughout the UK. The site allows users not only to post free advertisements but also access a number of web 2.0 features such as blogs, community forums and photo sharing facilities.

itsmymarket.com wants to combine Netrank's natural search capabilities with a number of other marketing activities such as PPC and direct marketing - in particular radio. Recent research has highlighted the need for an integrated approach to online and offline marketing and Netrank will offer SEO consultancy in collaboration with above-the-line campaigns to target keywords effectively and ensure the site is optimised for the searches that will ensue following other media activity.

Tom Probst, managing director at itsmymarket.com said:

"I am very excited at the prospect of the site's development through the use of natural search. The site has already proved extremely popular and through better natural search positioning the site is sure to grow. Netrank has introduced a range of innovative ideas including digital PR to drive search positions. This will take our online brand reputation to another level."

Lucy Allen, Managing Director at Netrank said:

"itsmymarket.com is a dynamic and lively website that is highly engaging for the user. Via SEO we intend to make itsmymarket a household name."

itsmymarket and Netrank are speaking together at the mad.co.uk search engine marketing event on the 3 October at Kensington Close Hotel, London.
