A family friendly martial Arts club, enjoy training in a relaxed atmosphere, all instructors are fully certified in Japan, insured and have been CRB checked and 1st aid qualified.

We are a martial arts club for Kids and Adults, we also cater for ladies only.

We specialise in working with small groups giving all students quality tuition and attention.

There are 3 rooms for specific groups, a family room for young children and their parents, a fully matted soft area for older children and a fully matted formal dojo for adults only.

Ages for kids classes range from 4-7yrs then 8-15yrs

Class format;

The underlying principle is that training is available to all;

-Warm up/stretching

-How to fall safely and minimise injury from blows

-Striking

-Kicking

-Blocking

-Locks

-Throws

The main class is focussed on the techniques of the Bujinkan being taught in japan and realistic self defence.

Each class is different but will cover some of the following;

-Defences from a wide variety of strikes and kicks

-Escapes from chokes and holds

-The use of any area of your body as a weapon

-Rolling and breakfalling

-Balance breaking

-The use of distance and space

-Multiple opponents

-Ninjutsu

-Weapons

-Unarmed defence from armed opponents

Thursday 19:00-20:00 Beginners

Thursday 20:15-21:30 Weapons(Bujinkan members only)

Sunday 10:30-12:00 Bujinkan school specific

Sunday 12:30-13:30 Shuriken(Bujinkan members only)

What to wear?.....

Something loose and comfortable, ie joggers, t-shirt, socks, no shoes or trainers in the dojo.
