Set within the walls of this superb Napoleonic fortress,on the banks of the Humber Estuary, the Paull Battery was built on the orders of Henry VIII.
After a long military service it closed in the 1960’s but now after years of back-breaking restoration, The battery opened to the public in 2000 as a heritage museum, housing 500 years of history within its walls.
