Special Events

One of the most important aspects in Camborne Tae Kwon-Do is to have fun during training and to provide variation in the locations where we train and the type of training we do.

During the Summer months we regularly train on the local beaches, often ending the session in the sea. Beach training teaches balance and co-ordination!

We've also trained on top of Carn Brae a number of times, holding sponsored training sessions there before now.

And the schools in Cornwall like to get together for special events such as fancy dress training sessions at Halloween or fun sessions at Christmas time.

Our most important session, which is an annual tradition running 20 years now, is the beach training session held every year on the day after Boxing Day, 27th December! It takes real indomitable spirit to go for a swim in the sea on this day but many of the students do!
