Hot Dates in Devon - Devon Rocks Off - The Wurzels are coming to town.

Before embarking on my recent travels I couldn't figure out which gave me more pleasure - seeing a Lord in full Pirate regalia on "Talk like a Pirate Day" or clocking the poster on the Riverside Sports Centre "Wurzels - 26th October"

We all know the Wurzels and happily sing along to their classic hits and the more hardcore have probably grabbed a copy of their covers album "Never Mind The Bullocks" which includes Robbies Rock DJ with a horse - Neigghhhhtastic.

Stillyano offer their support in Exeter on 26th October. Never Heard of 'em.

Ey up - just listned to a couple of demos and discover I can't use my line "Young pretenders to the throne of Yokle Rock are Stillyano" but what the heck - as long as I successfully smuggle my flagon into the Riverside (its a bloomin swimming pool) I'll be happy as an orchard wasp.
