...so I hired a Land Rover - Just the Job!
Apologies for the adsense (rofl) - Christmas is a hectic time in the Muncher household with family visits and additional cooking for the feasting season. With all the rushing around it is essential that you have a reliable vehicle. And thats where it all started to go wrong. Another hefty repair bill for the Bentley saw it back on the road and meant Winter driving in comfort and style - or so I thought. No sooner had the car been returned from the bodyshop the blasted car seat heating system developed a fault leading to an embarrassing and painful scorching of my passenger who unfortunately was wearing pvc incontinence pants. We needed wheels fast. Car Rental AGAIN
Once more I ventured to the Marsh Barton Trading Estate to choose something to see us through the festive period. Why not check out what the latest Land Rovers are like - after all the blog posts from Freelander seem to rate them very highly. The depot only had a couple of models left - it seems that winter is a good time to \"test\" the road worthiness of a land rover. After a full two weeks nipping about in the landrover we concluded that all in all it was a very agreeable experience. The Land Rover is a true work horse and is able to rise to the challenge of any jobs that are demanded of it. Christmas Pasties - Proper Jobs
The festive leftovers of stuffing and bird presented an job opportunity to prepare a true yuletide pasty. The bird meat shredded and mixed with stuffing with a few handfuls of sprout tops and swede all combined with a chucky egg. Munchtastic! Merry New Year all - lets hope 2009 is a healthy and prosperous year.
