Flowers flowers everywhere - pass the tissues Interesting cause-effect questions.Firstly what would a lady rather be given - flowers or chocolate? Just read a couple af articles by women asking that they be given chocolate instead of fresh cut flowers especially at this time of year when hayfeverpitch strikes. Apparantly there is word out that chocolate helps hayfever sufferers - hmm rose tinted spectacle perhaps but at least its more pleasant than drinking nettle flower tea! I would like to refute the idea that chocolate causes depression, since I suffer from depression and I very rarely eat chocolate. But it could definitely play a part in the idea that poor diet leads to or at least contributes to depression, and that sugary foods like chocolate lead to short term sugar highs and then extreme lows which I am sure most people have experienced at some time or the other.
