'Has it really come to this' I pondered as the magic appliance announced its job done with a ping and a pong.

Munching for you.

On my return from a particularly dull visit to an Antiques Fair at Shepton Mullet I pulled the Bentley into a BP Wild Bean Cafe aka Petrol Station with refreshments.

I needed refreshments and they were ready to deliver. Three coffee makers producing freshly brewed espresso, cappuccinos, slarty blartfast latttes and a bank of microwaves to reheat snacks on the go. Hobsons Choice on the Pasty Front - them damned Ginsters atrocities. Be fair Mutt - the wrapper does read "New Improvoved Recipe" so I had to at least re-visit them.

Microwaving never does even the best of pasties justice but the Ginsters actually flopped into a soggy pancake after 30 seconds. the stench that greeted me when i opened the oven door was enough to embarrass me. I reckon other "diners" believed I had blown off as they wafted their menues nad screwed up their noses.

One bite - just one small bite and i could tell the only improvement necessary would be to recall all stock and publish an apology for being purveyors of rubbish grub.

All was not lost though - I remember this trick I read on the Microwaves R Fun site

Cut a grape almost in half, leaving som skin attaching each ahlsf and pop it in a micro for a spin. One in ten to fifteen grapes produce astonishing arcs and plasma.
