Busy Bank Holiday Ahead - Lustleigh May Day, Off Road Land Rover Madness and a trip to Trago Mills.

The first of May marks the true arrival of Spring in Devon - already the hedgerows and trees are in leaf and with a nice drop of rain and some warm air over the weekend we should be enjoying the verdant glory of the South West.

Whats On - Bank Holiday in south devon

To mark the start of the tourist/holiday season Devon offers a huge range of outdoor activities for all the family. The truely incredible Gnome Reserve will open its gates and Trago Mills can expect bumper crowds of bargain hunters to descend throughout the weekend.

Outdoor Events

Although the surf forecast is promising the water is really cold this time of year making so it is still necessary to wear a full winter wetsuit - which hardly seems fitting for the seasonal celebration.

Rural Pole Dancing

Oh how quaint - the chocoalte box village holds its annual pagan ritual during its May Day Celebrations - ritual crowning of May Queen the day is only made bearable when the Pole Dancing begins - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXzY7YhNvW0

Top tip - check out the local shop and grab some of their wonderful pasties to heat up properly later.

4x4 & Land Rover Offroad Events, Pay and Play Land Rover Days, Fundays ...
