With the prospect of bearing all during the summer months (Munch for the Sun Pasty Festival a less than a month away) it is time to reverse the pasty indulgence of late..

Wot No Pasties?

Don't be fooled. Simply because I haven't been banging on about my relentless search for the perfect pasty does not mean I've been slacking. I'm at least a stone and a half heavier since begining this quest back in the Winter months when endless scoffing of meat and root vegatables encased in a variety of pastries seemed a smart move.

Time for action. time to shed.

I've invested in a food processor from Morphy Richards. Why bother buying a seperate Smoothie Maker when a good Food Processor mashes everything up just fine - ideal for pulping all the excess fruit from the veg plot.

I have always kept an eye on diets and healthy eating and am amused with some of the contradictory information that is "out there"

I have no doubt that fresh fruit and veg are super good for body and soul - hence my recent purchase - just beware of those carbon miles that a lot of supermarket food clocks up. Incidently I read recently that the man with pecil legs was having trouble concealing his carbon footprints.

I came across this blog over the weekend wihich encourages high volume eating in order to promote full evacuation the next day.

This fellow has gone to great lengths to record and analyise his doings and you never know there could be a diet best seller coming - as many diet books are sold as cookery guides/recipe books.
