Bloomin' wind and rain more like!

I'm sure your all mad keen to know how i got on with my quest to try a Phipps Pasty after reading such glowing reports about them.

You'd think that following the prompt response from the blogtastic Hazey Eyes that saved precious munching time by locating the fantastic "Pasty Eating" car sticker - I'd have been able to pop down to Hayle and get some top notch hot pasty action.

I'd been staying over in Altarnun on Saturday and thought that as I'm in Cornwall it should be straightforward. However when I looked over the map during breakfast on Sunday I realised just how far away Hayle is. "Looks like it'll need to be an overnight stay" I thought to myself as I buttered my fourth slice of toast.

As it turned out thank heavens I decided to "put off 'til tommorrow anything you can" - it didn't just rain, it was double rain. My journey home was a drenching challange. The old motor let plenty of spray throught the perforated undercarriage and new for 2007 there's a leak above the drivers sun visor happliy soaking the seat below.
