The reign of the 60 watt lightbulb is over....
The days of the 60 watt lightbulb are coming to an end as the EU is set to phase out the production and distribution of all 60 watt bulbs. Instead everyone who hasn’t accumulated an end of the world stockpile of bulbs will be forced to change to CFL’s by the start of September. The EU has already phased out 100watt and frosted bulbs and in two weeks’ time 60 watt bulbs will be off the shelf and into the dustbin. Best stock up now while you still have the chance.
