Passengers waiting for flights begin to question BA cabin crew complaints

Along with a couple of hundred passengers stuck in Spain wating for our flights to London news came that BA Staff plan to Strike Again

One of the weirdest aspect of this protracted series of events is that the cabin crew union, and the cabin crew group as a whole were willing to expose their generous T&Cs to the wider UK public.

Somehow, they did not understand the level of 1/ surprise and 2/ disgust when people learned that they were voting for strike action only because of a sensible non-threatening cost-savings action implemented by BA.

The relatively plush working life of many cabin crew, and the fact that the rationale for the strike had been approved by Unite at Gatwick some years ago also made the British public sit up and say " what on earth are these people doing ?"

They must not have realised that many people in the UK are worse off and would react badly.

All in all, the cabin crew should have accepted the minor changes, thus saving themselves from the sunshine of public scrutiny and avoiding the PR mess they created on their own and allow the national flag carrier to continue flights to the UK uninterupted

fed up with the state of the nation?

I want to live...

in a country where the government don't cheat and lie and swindle for fun
in a country where the richest few don't gamble with other peoples money for massive bonuses
in a country where robbing from the hard working and prudent savers to give hand outs to benefit frauds, irresponsible single mothers, reckless spenders, the ungrateful and unmotivated council hoodies is wrong
in a country where 'Not in MY Paypacket' unions can't hold the country to ransom

I need to...leave this god forsaken country - if BA aren't still holding UK passengers to randsom then I'll return to loooking for flights to Mumbai - you never know I might bump into kausher and his Zameen Zidad indea real estate company.
