Its Web two point zeroI was about to write to the Points of View to strongly complain that now you are required to register before adding your twopenny worth to the multitude of blogs etc on the BBC site. It makes me soooooo angry when I ccannot simply share my opinion on a site the actually has "leave a comment" as a call to action. You think "hmm I do have something to contribute but when you follow the link t=you are presented with a login screen - and the moment is gone. Its just another part of Web 2.0 - social networking - virtual life. Cheap Friends Facebook Makes Work Fun reads the slogan on a colleagues T shirt. I've yet to join this high brow site but have had the opportunity to see my lazy workmates pages and the daily dribble of drivel that he gets including requests to shear sheep "Are you shearing"? "No clear off and find your own" It is always amusing to see other websites think they can become more appealing to their visitors by replicating the facebook look. This specialist banking software solutions company make a pretty good attempt at cheering up an otherwise dreary page about their FX trading solution by applying the facebook blues.
