Freelander - Hello John, Want a Motor?

The decision to "splash out" on a Land Rover has to be carefully considered. A basic Defender would be appropriate but the fuel economy and lack of speed make the Freelander more attractive.

Munching with the best of 'em. Tirelessly searching for the perfect pasty.

Chistmas Cheer - Its that time of Year...

Don't be a shopping fool this yule - click the habit.

T'is fast approaching Christrmas time - Trago Shopping Detention Centre had the first garish displays soon after the schools went back in September and now buying undies in Marks and Sparks presents challenges that exceed those of a commando assault course.

T'was Yuletide time last year that the inspiration for Pasty Muncher came about when the Christams in Cornwall photo competition was won by the marvelously composed Festive Christmas Pasty.

There's talk of another photo competition for Devon named Slap it! but they'd better get a move on since the closing date is at the end of this month.

With all the joys of Christmas also come the tales of woe - apparently one in five of us are still clearing last years christmas credit card spending as the next one looms. Oh tidings of comfort and joy - I think not.

Hatching a cunning plan

Is it just a dream - to coin the Gnat West advert "there has to be a better way" to avoid the stresses of battling through increasingly busy high streets, squandering our lives in endless queues at the tills yet still have a fabulous choice of gifts at lower prices to satisfy the urge to give at Christmas. It can't be done I hear you cry. But Tarry a moment!

With the advent of Broadband t'internnnettt even to the one-horse towns and villages of Devon a whole new world of resplendent retail experiences has opened up.

Choose some smellies for loved ones is simple. Most folk are easy to please - just make a note of the heavily advertised whiffs - I suspect with the release of a new album from the one time shaved diva Britney Spears Perfumes will feature highly. Pop over to a informative online guide and research the products available - jot down a few remarks about "top notes" of strawberries and pear drops - always impresses - and find a likely suspect to go buy. I was intrigued, neigh curious by the Totally Ticklish Shimmer Stick and when searching for it on one of the the latest UK shopping comparison site savebuckets - I was well chuffed to find it for £7.50! Fragrantastic!

Now I notice an interesting feature on this site that I haven't come across before - pop you're email in and suggest your ideal price and when the shopping engine finds a match it lets you know. I am optimistic that somehow, somewhere a computer error will allow me to get the new iPhone for under a tenner.
