Did you know there is a MASSIVE World Cup tournament this year?

Women's Football World Cup

That's right, the FIFA Women's Football World Cup will be held in China during September this year. England are ranked 12th in the world, so probably won't be bringing home the trophy, but good luck to them anyway.....

Seriously....

There is a huge world cup this year, involving men not women, It's the tournament I am really interested in, skill, speed, and an England team who are massive underdogs against the likes of Australia and New Zealand. That's right, the ICC Cricket World Cup starts today, when the hosts West Indies play Pakistan. England will struggle to make any impression at all, and start in a group with New Zealand (my tips for the title), Canada and Kenya. Will Michael Vaughan inspire his team to the semi-finals? England's group games are:

16 March v New Zealand

18 March v Canada

24 March v Kenya

Barmy Army!

Oh, And There's Also....

The rugbo world cup. England are, apparently, the current holders of the trophy, but I doubt anyone will be interested in such a minority sport. Pimms O'clock? Says it all. Look out for inspirational wing-centre-flank-off Jimmy Watkinson, with his impressive collection of career-threatening injuries!
