Norfolk Single Dad
For all you Woolpackaholics out there, here are some latest developments.... I was due at a meeting tonight but have been afflicted with a case of the squits....so bailed out. Popped into the Woolie to check if Danny had been contacted by the Samaritans fundraiser bloke yet (he has) and found out the following:
Following the success of the Woolpack Wallies in the charity pool tournament, they are now going on tour! The Fenman pub is supporting a hospice, and the Wallies challenged them to a pool match, which was accepted. In addition, there is a quiz night arranged, so the Woolie WILL be sending AT LEAST one team, probably more, to do trivial battle. So picture the Wallies as the Woolpack Globetrotters, with Meadowlark Les as the shamanic leader. Woolpack on tour!
There's a great title for a new self-help book. We know that "life is what happens to us while we wait for our plans to go wrong". So what Little Miss Lemon suggested was that we need a map! Great idea. So, anyone volunteering to write a self-help book which we call "Sat Nav For Life"? That's already copyrighted by the way!
Old Bob proved he still has the best love-life of ANYONE in the Woolie by admitting he is knackered because he was, errrm, "talking" with his woman til after 1 in the morning, then felt obliged to "talk" again at 5 in the morning. What a hunka-hunka burning love that man is!
Old Bob also told us how to convert prices when we're on holiday in Europe.....multiply by seven. But you need to use commen sense too.
So. A busy few minutes. But you know that what the Woolpack does first, the rest follow.......
