Because they ARRRRRRRRRRRRR! It turns out that the Mermatey's Mum and Dad named her Keira after Keira Knightley! There's a turn-up for the books. As you can see from the picture she seems to be looking forward to joining the happy band of piratical rapscallions, and this will be happening sooner rather than later as all the bubbles have nearly gone....
Little does she know that Capn's Crazy, Dodgy, Cow, Farty-Pants and Fishy have already secretly christened her "Five-Times Knightley", a rather less attractive name than Keira, BUT probably much more accurate too. How will she deal with all the seamen? Watch this space....
I have to praise Matey's quality too. One little dribble from Five-Times' opening and within seconds there was more frothing, foaming and bubbles than you could shake a stick at. Spread the Word
