Well, I found this show fascinating - couldn't take me eyes off it!

Not because I liked it, or the bands involved, just the opposite. I detested all the acts featured tonight, and still do! As for the great Live Aid myth, ho hum, anyone still believe that was about making money for Africans? Seems like those involved gave themselves and their careers and record sales a massive boost too!

So tonight we have seen Bruce Springstein, Dire Straits, The Police, Queen, U2, Kiss, Bon Jovi, some of the most pointless and bland musical artists ever. All enjoy huge "status" though, how come? No record from any of these people ever surprised me, it's just formula, written-by-committee mush.

To me, there is massive cynicism with "it's for the poor" style shows.

Anyway, this is just my opinion, I HATE MOR stadium rockers!
