My great day with Sam was ruined when we went back to mummy's......

When me and Sam went to the park earlier, Sam found a stick that looked EXACTLY like a sword.....naturally he ran round shouting "charge", and chopping at trees, bins etc.....pretending he was a knight.

Fast forward a few hours, Sam is keen to show his "sword" to mummy.....we stop the car, Sam runs to the door and knocks. Mummy opens door, says "I don't think so", takes "sword" from Sam and gives it to me.

Sam headed off into the house, then came back and sat down in the hallway, looking ready to cry. Sam's mum said "He seems in a strange mood?"

I reply "He's only in a bad mood because of the way you treated his sword"

I did get to give Sam a goodnight hug and kiss. There is Sooooo much wrong with Sam's mum's attitude. I was VERY upset leaving that house tonight, 100% thanks to Sam's mummy.
