Pet Ducks!

Regular readers will know that me and Sam have been concerned about the ducks' weird behaviour recently.....

It culminated when we spotted a male and female pair wandering past our window one evening, just as Sam was about to go to bed. We decided to feed them, and lobbed a few slices of bread out of the window......Sam LOVED it....

Well. Tonight, as we were about to head off to Sam's mum's house, we spotted a duck ambling around the car park....Sam tried to get it to come to him "Here, duckie duckie duckie....!!!!" but it wouldn't.

And just now, as I was putting my blinds down, I almost jumped through the ceiling when I looked out of the window that we had fed the ducks out of, and heard a hearty QUAAAAAAAAAAACK! The couple were back! Who says they're dumb animals!? So I lobbed a few more slices out (they didn't back off even a step when I opened the window), and took the attached photo - apologies about the quality, it was almost dark when I took it.

Ducks, we love 'em!
