Well, I am very dis-pleased with one member of my online football team!

Yes I understand that I'm too old for it, but I take part in an online football game called "Sunday League", where you manage a football team against other people with too much time on their hands. You can rename your team and players, so my team is based on Corrie - yes I am the proud boss of the Rovers Return Rovers!

Now, we're top of the league right now, so I am really mad that my star left-back Ken Barlow has got himself suspended for the crucial game at home to Latics Allstars. Ken, you idiot!

I was hoping to keep an unchanged team from the last match, a 5-3 victory which cemented our place as league leaders, with goals from Raquel Wolstenholme, Albert Tatlock, and a Curly Watts hat-trick. Unfortunately Tatlock got himself booked (for Obstruction), as did Mavis Riley (Indecent Exposure) and worst of all Barlow (Shirt Pulling). Tatlock also missed another penalty, so spot-kick duties have been handed to attacking midfielder Don Brennan (no jokes about all cup matches being decided over one leg, thank you).

We really need to win the title, we will be awarded credits in-game which will mean we might be able to strengthen the team!

If you fancy a go, sign up here Wish us luck!
