Right, it's come to pass that I may have to give up some time with Sam during the week to find a job that pays the bills....

Obviously this is the last thing I want, and I have been looking high and low for work that fits in with my current arrangements. No luck though, and now I really have to reach a situation where my income is greater than the outgoings.

This month for example I still have to earn £357 to break even, and that doesn't include luxuries like food and petrol! Well, when I say £357, that really means £410+ as 15% of everything I earn is paid to Sam's mummy. I think this month will be another one with the balance in the red, considerably, before payday rolls around.

It's sad but I may have to give up my Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with Sam, or cut them back drastically. Would it be fair on Sam to pick him up from nursery at quarter past five and have to have him back with his mummy by half past six? Probably not, and the selfish side of me says go for it anyway. However, the caring daddy side knows that it's what is best for Sam that is by far the most important factor. One hour "flying visits" comprising bath and tea and nothing else probably don't fall into that category.

So. I'm in the market for fulltime work, Monday to Friday. Let me know if you hear of anything please?
