I was SOOOOO close today, but no cigar....not that you win anything anyway!

I had a pop at the Songanory before it was read out AND afterwards today, the first attempt was "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" by Cliff Richard (WRONG), the second was "Girlfriend In A Coma" by The Smiths (WRONG).

The right answer escapes me, but it was the song that goes "Oh what a night, late December 1963...." which is a song that reminds me of my football-watching youth, when the song was adapted to "Oh what a night, late September 1993, scum got beat by Galatasaray, what an evening what a night" to commemorate Manyoo losing to the Turks for the first time ever. Happy days!
