King's Lynn 0 Norwich 4

I went out and did something!

Well, it was a toss up between staying in to watch Corrie and swig some beer, or go to watch a game of football. The football cost a fiver and I enjoyed it, so that was a fiver well spent. It's a sign I;m not getting younger, one ball came fizzing over the bar, I jumped to whack it and my little finger got bent backwards, OOOOOHYABUGGA! Hopefully it's just badly bruised, if it's the size of Dion Dublin's wedding tackle tomorrow then I'll be off to the QEH. The game itself was amusing, King's Lynn did better than I thought they would, Norwich took advantage when the home team ran out of steam, and scored 3 of their 4 goals in the last 10 minutes. It appears Jack Defty's arse has had a very lazy summer, and has returned for pre-season twice the size it was even in May. Unbelievable I know, but true!

Still generally in "head under the duvet" mode, but having Sam yesterday and today is a real boost, even when the first thing he says is "I'm in rather a grumpy mood today Daddy!"

Tomorrow I am "planning" to be cooking all morning, another biiiiig batch of the hidden veg pasta sauce that Sam devours, and some nice fishcakes that are healthier than shop ones. In the afternoon I'm doing a voluntary shift, then I may stick my head back under the duvet again.

Anyway, rumours of me doing anything stupid are MILES off the mark, I am NOT leaving Sam on his own!
