You have to love whatever is at work in this world, when you plug away at being a decent person with apparently no reward, and then your luck changes....

Two days into the week, two excellent pieces of mail!

Yesterday a cheque arrived, my pay for the filthy student houses cleaning job. And today, as you can see, complimentary tickets for Sam and me to the Dinosaur Park that I raved about in this very blog a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if this will continue tomorrow? Let's hope so!

On a slightly different note, Sam's mummy has at last got a phone with a camera from which she can upload photos to her PC. She sent some cool pics of Sam on a picnic. The pics were all called "Image013", "Image016" etc, the default names. I replied, offering the (I thought) helpful suggestion that she rename any photos she uploads as soon as possible, otherwise you end up with hundreds of pics all with default names, and it's hard to sort/find them later. This attracted the following reply:

"Don't push your luck with the technical stuff. Was my finger in it? No. Be appreciative and thankful lol! I'm working on the rest. I also don't have the time to sit and rename stuff the way you do. I have work to do at the moment. I'll sort it all out when I get a chance. They're all in folders in the mypictures anyway."

It's no wonder I don't like her any more.
