A week into the hunt for employment and surprisingly nobody has offered me £25k p.a. for watching Jeremy Kyle and Diagnosis Murder.....

Another Wednesday dawns, and I've made a first move on another three "jobs". The full progress report now looks as follows:

Job #10 : One Stop Shop - took the completed application form back, they're advertising for part-time shop assistants. Not heard anything yet. (Started 1 Mar 07)

Job #11 : Advert in the Lynn News wanting people to deliver new editions of the Yellow Pages! Email sent, awaiting reply. No reply to email so I phoned the number and left a couple of details. (1 Mar 07)

Job #12 : 7 hours cleaning per week in King's Lynn. Going to visit the premises this afternoon and have a chat with the lady in charge. (1 Mar 07)

Job #13 : 25 hours a week secretary/admin job at Hardwick Narrows. CV posted. Not heard anything yet. (1 Mar 07)

Job #14 : Meter reading in the local area. Phoned them up, they're sending me an information pack. (7 Mar 07)

Job #15 : Distributing Norfolk Citizen adverts paper. Left my details with the nice lady, the boss will get back to me with details of any local rounds available (between 50 to 500 papers per round). (7 Mar 07)

Job #16 : Cleaner at Springwood school, various shifts available. They will contact people to arrange interviews at the beginning of next week. (7 Mar 07)

So there you have it. I would be prepared, reluctantly, to give up some time with Sam midweek if I have to, but absolutely not my Friday/Saturday time, which unfortunately rules me out of quite a few jobs. Who knows, some of the above may come good!
