Cooking healthy food for Sam gives me a satisfied, warm glow inside, so the earlier grumpiness has been overtaken with semi-smugness....

This photo shows the Hidden Veg pasta sauce when everything is finally included. Hey presto, it suddenly looks "right". Cook it for 40 minutes, then blitz it with a blender into a proper sauce consistency, and TAAA-DAAAAA! These two pans will yield eight portions of sauce, and when one portion will feed both Sam AND me, that's good value for money. The curry "should" make six hefty portions, but I might make it go into eight this time.

For the rest of the day? It's sorting out the leaflets for the papers, putting the leaflets into the papers, and loading the first round's-worth into the car. Tomorrow will be busy too, due to a late change of plans (one of Sam's great-grandma's is ill). I'll need to be in the Woolpack, cleaning, by quarter to six, thence straight out to deliver 300 of the 600 papers, and then picking Sam up just before 10 a.m. from school. Crackers!
