What the chuff is the point of going to bed early and avoiding beer if you STILL wake up at half past bloody three?

I spent an hour unsuccessfully trying to get back to sleep, then gave up and got up. I was in a FOUL mood. Abominable. Despicable. Poor old Claudius the cat got shouted at for asking for food! GRRRRRRR!

Went to clean the pub, that was fine, brief chat with Debbie and Obersturmbahnfuhrer Ian revealed they get annoyed with their cats too. Not just me, good.

Then into the kitchen to get cracking on cooking up some more batches of Sam food. Healthy, veg-rich food created by cute chefette Annabel Karmel (known to her followers as AK). Today I did a BIG pan full of Kiddie Chicken Curry, and two pans of the famous "Hidden Vegetable Pasta Sauce". The photo shows the curry (black pan) and the hidden veg sauce (green pans) before any of the tomato based extras were added......it just looks like a panful of vegetables doesn't it? That's because it is! Carrot, courgette, onion, crushed garlic, mushrooms. Yet when it's finished, your children don't realise they are devouring a massive amount of veg, with all the good stuff that goes with it. Underhand but effective. Age and treachery really does beat youth and enthusiasm every time.

I'd have liked to make a series of three or four photos on this subject, but it's a no-no at the moment on IMM. Multiple photo blogs are "on the development schedule". IMM people? What is the forecast for the introduction of this improvement please?
