Well I'm glad that's over and done with, one day down successfully, and tomorrow is a Sam Day!

I woke up really early this morning, and eventually got up early too. It seemed to be a good thing cos I was bright as a button from the word go, sometimes I struggle to get going at all. Off to the Woolie, cleaned it up nicely, then off to the Woodman's.

Handed the quiz over to Ian, who proceeded to read through it giggling and cackling in some kind of Machiavellian way. Hope it goes well. Time flew and I don't know how, but before I knew it it was home time.

Back to KL, washing up, feet up for half an hour then out for my afternoon Samaritans shift. Which was a doozie. Really busy for a Monday afternoon. Then out, wandered home, fancied a pint so nipped into the Woolpack. A few things:

Les' Breakfast Club: Les The Duck is revelling in the feelgood factor that was produced when the Woolpack Wallies pool team breakfasted chez Les. The plan is for Les' Breakfast Club (LBC) to meet once a month to sample a traditional Full English, together with A. N. Other dish, be it kedgeree (SP?), kippers, jerk chicken, frittata, all ideas will be considered. All washed down with a complimentary beer or two, then out to the Woolie for an afternoon of pool and high jinks, hurrah!

Napoleon/Wallpaper/Poison: Somehow this subject came up. I was convinced Napoleon's death was in some way linked to wallpaper and poison! Old Bob and Bwana McPhee pooh-poohed this ridiculous idea. A bet was struck for ten big ones....ten pence. Since I got home I feel I am 10p better off having found thiswebsite. Still may be some debate though!

Good With Colours: Little Miss Lemon (Woolpack's super-sexy lesbian barmaid if you're new to the blog) told me I was nicely co-ordinated today. Chocolate brown jeans, light brown t-shirt, trainers kinda went too. This does not mean I am gay. Soon after there was a brief spit-roasting debate, during which Vonnie told me "Do't side with the men". What DOES she mean? Hmmm. Now I think you have to fancy men to be gay, which isn't me, so these two foxy chicks can stop stirring it right now!

So. Home now. Off to bed very soon. It was a Monday, nothing else to be said really. Sam tomorrow!
