Strange ramblings on the show as we didn't make much sense first thing this morning. But then, when do we ever?................

Good day to all of you

The show had a slightly surreal feel to it this morning as both myself and Shaun seemed to talk at length basically about nothing in particular. This (on my part) could have had something to do with the (lack of) sleep I had last night. After a busy evening I was trying to prepare my notes for today's show and kept nodding off. You should have seen some of the ramblings I put down - none of it made any sense! What is crazy finish? or Flashback repair? We'll never know!

The Artic Monkeys, Take That and Macca were among the winners at the Brits last night. The Monkeys were dressed as country gentlemen complete with a decoy duck, just like me and Shaun dress every day. They modestly accepted their award declaring "We're fabulous!"

Dear Nigel was back today helping to solve the Fens problems. Today I advised the man who was getting grief from the wife about staying out all hours with the lads. Of course we gave him the best advise possible. Everybody's happy!

Quite a difficult one on Flashback today - 1970 was the mystery year which most people found hard to work out. Music was provided by Black Sabbath, Norman Greenbaum, Free, Canned Heat and Deep Purple.

I'm not here tomorrow, so Shaun's in charge. Give him a listen, he'll have the Mystery Voice (£149) the £500 Sound and Knockoff Nige and Shifty Shaun with Freebie Friday.
