Many calls and texts this morning about the earthquake that hit Britain last night, I slept through the whole thing of course!.........

Hi you all!

Well what can I say? I got to the studio this morning to find a text and emails sent overnight asking as to wether there had been an earthquake?

I switched the TV on to find that there had indeed - I slept through the whole thing, although I awoke at around 1am when I thought something had fallen off the shelf. Right from the start of the show we had a steady flow of calls with stories of Beds shaking, parrots squawking, cars rocking and even a TV falling off a wall bracket. And I missed it. Never mind there'll be another along in 25 years!

The Dictionary Doctor is on vacation so I took charge of the Anagram Game this morning. Seven letters on offer, namely ISZOHBW which rearranged into SHOWBIZ. Someone called in to say they had found those letters as an entry in the Polish telephone book!

Nigel's Big Ten was the temporary replacement for Fact Fight this morning, with 10 amazing facts to impress your mates down the pub with. Including - the World Motorcycle Speed Record is 350 mph. Wouldn't fancy riding pillion on that!

The Mystery Voice is worth £157 tomorrow and the £500 Sound is back at 8.15 - and if you have any personal problems listen to Dear Nigel tomorrow, I will solve them for you. As only I can.
