Scrumptious they may be but beware - the morning after can be a surprising lavatorial experience

Often overlooked beetroot are a doddle to grow - free of pests and disease - best used when no bigger than a cricket ball. Leave and inch of leaf stalks and the root tail on, pressure cook for ten minutes full power, skin, slice and add to sweetend water with a splash of vinegar to taste. YUM

This is a rather sweet site - Love Beetroot

After scoffing a good bowl of beets the next day can offer a real treat - indulge yourself in purple skids and splashes.

Surely only a matter of time before the log blog produces a detailed account of purple plopping.
