2 million Pumpkins - Green with envy but seeing red.

Pity Dave Bowman who looks out across his acreage to view a sea of green.

This Lincolnshire farmer is more than a tad concerned that his crop of TWO MILLION pumpkins remain green as Halloween approaches.

Unbelievabley he's storing them in a warm shed - 20 degrees in an effort to turn them orange cow towing to the supermarkets and their picky customers.

My patch has a scattering of not quite ripe pumpkins but my solution is simple.

Paint them! - After all few folk actually eat them and if you did you'd discard the skin.
