My Patch
2 million Pumpkins - Green with envy but seeing red. Pity Dave Bowman who looks out across his acreage to view a sea of green. This Lincolnshire farmer is more than a tad concerned that his crop of TWO MILLION pumpkins remain green as Halloween approaches. Unbelievabley he's storing them in a warm shed - 20 degrees in an effort to turn them orange cow towing to the supermarkets and their picky customers. My patch has a scattering of not quite ripe pumpkins but my solution is simple. Paint them! - After all few folk actually eat them and if you did you'd discard the skin.
