Make a refreshing drink from cucumbers!

Cucumbers Everywhere

Once again the glut factor creeps up - this time its half a dozen spare cucs.

Looked on web for suggestions - erm careful now with image results - and came across some attractive ideas.

Make a Cucumber Smoothie

Peel off the skin of and chop the cucumber into tiny pieces.

Blend it together with lime juice ,water and castor sugar.

Strain it and serve in chilled glasses - cocktail ideally.

Some say the drink can be made more interesting if soda is used instead of water. Myself I found it worked especially good with a nice slug of Tanqueray and additional Lemon
