The recent bout of HOT weather is playing havoc with the glasshouse speciality crops

Yes we have no Bananas, we have no Bananas today

Phew what a scorching past couple of weeks. Ever since the Bank Holiday the sunshine has been relentless and I've had the glasshouse ventilation up and down like a bride's nightie.

So much for my fancy ideas of growing bananas - they found it too much and ended it all.

As they say - the best fruit is local and in season - so a blackberrying I go.
