Malaysia has slowly become one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Asia. Becoming an independent country in 1957, Malaysia is the perfect mix of the modern and the historical. Malaysia holidays could be exactly the kind of vacation you are looking for, with an abundance of different and exciting things to see and do.

While there is culture and tradition to be explored in various areas of Malaysia, such as the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and Melaka City, there are tons of activities that are not the typical tourist things to do. There are a number of different jungle expeditions. Some of the highlights of these expeditions include feeding the sea eagles on the various islands, and seeing wildlife such as elephants and panthers. The rock climbing there is one of Malaysia's major attractions. There are also many different water sports available at the Lake Gardens near Kuala Lumpur. These sports range from the tame, such as renting a small boat, to the extreme, such as boat racing. One can also visit the Labuan International Sea Sports Complex, which features a variety of water sports. Another popular thing to do is go diving off the coast of Borneo, at Pulau Sipadan, where you just might find yourself swimming with sea turtles and sharks.

While many think about the culture and history of Malaysia, there is way more to the country than most realize. No matter what your interest, this great country probably has it. If you are looking for excitement and fun, Malaysia just might be for you.
