Stabbings Must Stop

Can someone, somewhere, explain to me exactly what's going on in our streets? Are you, like me, a concerned parent, wondering what's happening to our childrens' world?

Norfolk Resident - Caravans Go Home

Once again I have to report that my basic European Right to a free and unhindered life has again been compromised by the tin can on wheels owners.

You'll never believe what I found out last night. That meeting that was cancelled, you remember? Well, the management DID have the meeting in the office block at the other end of the site - in secret. They just didn't want us there.

Like I said yesterday, I've never dealt with such an abysmal management in my life. And now, I'm dealing with cowards as well. A cancelled meeting, still being held in secret, behind closed doors, in a building where we'd never see them come in, or go out.

Doesn't it just stink?

Especially giving the fact that they stirred the sh*t, messed around with five mens lives, then couldn't find the backbone to face upto their decisions.

Don't get me wrong, we're not out to cause trouble, the meeting wouldn't have been violent, or agressive, or anything like that - we just wanted to say no, not acceptable, and in any case, WHY?

One of my colleagues rang me up last night, saying that it had been decided to revert back to the old roster, "for the time being"

Still not good enough. By Far. I'm still angry with this and I am going to leave. I've already applied for two jobs last night on line, and there's going to be furious application activity from me until I get another job.

And I've still had no reply to letters and emails emails, not even a solitary phone call. They still need another man starting Monday for three days as I'm off, running the Home Taxi Service, taking the Teenage One to work experience.

Even though I've offered to cover nights on those 3 days so I can swop swifts with a colleague, who is more than happy to do so.

I'll see what happens today, if anything, and update the blog tonight.

Thanks for the replies yesterday guys - and Kim, by sheer coincidence, the business, which has been stagnant now for 4 months, since losing my American Server, is being relaunced Monday with the greatest amount of urgency I can muster. I've been working on this, behind the scenes as it were, for about 6 weeks or so, really going for it after I was clear from the hospital results.

I'm decorating today and sorting out the server tomorrow and Sunday ready for Monday. I've completed my grass cutting duties yesterday aftenoon, so when I'm finished tonight, the weekends mine. All mine.

I'm now calling my managers the SADs. Cowardice has never been tolerated by the armed forces, and those guilty of such offences (this cowardice, thanks to todays better understanding, is known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, so the vast majority of solidiers killed were innocent) were marched up hills at dawn and shot. Shot At Dawn. Thats what my managers deserve.

This whole thing stinks to high Heaven.

Paul
