Stabbings Must Stop

Can someone, somewhere, explain to me exactly what's going on in our streets? Are you, like me, a concerned parent, wondering what's happening to our childrens' world?

Once again I have to report that my basic European Right to a free and unhindered life has again been compromised by the tin can on wheels owners.

As I 'm relaunching the business, basically starting from scratch again, I'm trying to create a steady monthly income for myself by working once, and getting paid for ever for it. This is called residual income.

So, a couple of days ago, I wrote and put an article on a site called Helium, the details of which I got through IMM's Google Adsense Programme.

Have you seen those ads floating around the blogs - headed with "Ads By Google"? Well, this is where I checked out Helium from - and IMM have got/will be paid by Google because I joined Helium from their link. Easy money.

Anyway, Helium are a writers board, where articles you write climb up a reader chart, gradually, from bottom to the top position, according to how many people read it. The articles you write - which can be on any subject - must be your own work, but other than that, there's no conditions, except that they must first be reviewed by "The Management" to make sure they are acceptable.

So, when your article gets to number one, you get paid according to how many people view it, AND there's a chance of picking up some freelance writing work for someone, for hard cash.

So, I wrote this article here:

http://www.helium.com/tm/440133/everything-england-takes-granted

submitted it two days ago, got it accepted, and over the last couple of hours, it's reached number 1 in it's section!!

I'm not expecting to make hundreds from it, or even instant money, but hey, every little helps (heard that before, somewhere!). And if I pick up a freelance writing job through it (I love writing) isn't that a bonus?

And the fact that the article stays on the site, forever, means I could get new jobs from it next month, next year - even 5 years down the line. Work once - get paid for it forever. That's the objective. So the half hour or so I spent writing it out will, hopefully, stand me in good stead for years to come.

Regular readers will recognise part of the article, because I put it on here last month. But this is my full article, not the shortened version I wrote here. It's about political correctness - a subject I really feel strongly about.

And I'm thinking of starting a new blog here as well, specifically about this subject. I'm going to be calling it Common Sense For Britain, and I'll start it sometime over the weekend, using the article I wrote for Helium. The new blog will concentrate only on the stupidness of the PC Brigade and the European/British Government Government.

Sorry if you find this subject boring, this blog will stay as it is, so you won't have to read the new one if you're not keen on politics (Simon!)
