I and my son went to the lounge at the Woolpack for just before seven, and we stayed there until 7.40pm - on our own!

Great plans as they say! Started out by the fact that we found ourselves in the bar, and had to give the bar man the drinks back whilst we walked around the corner to the proper door into the lounge.

As no one had appeared by 7.40 as I say, we decided to call it quits and went back home. Still had a valuable bonding session with my son though, but we did, eventually, run out of things to talk about.

I'm sorry no one made it. I guess we'll just have to stay figments of every bodys imagination for the time being!

BUT this is the first time, in absolute years, that I've purposefully made plans to socialise. See, I can still do it, can't I?

Maybe next time will be better - for everyone. Simon, perhaps you'll pass my regards onto the bar man for me - I did ask for you when we went in. I didn't get your PM because it didn't show up in the messages bit here again.
