Josh Rouse is an American folk/roots pop singer-songwriter. Josh Rouse was born in 1972 at Paxton, Nebraska, US. Josh Rouse settled down in Tennessee, where he met some local musicians and began recording.

Josh Rouse has released seven studio albums so far: Dressed Up Like Nebraska (1998), Home (2000), Under Cold Blue Stars (2002), 1972 (2003), Nashville (2005), Subtítulo (2006) and Country Mouse City House (2007). Josh Rouse will release his eighth album, El Turista, in February 2010.
