itsmymarket.com Shops

Got lots to sell? Now you can create your own 'seller' shop on itsmymarket.com...

We noticed some of you were running quite a few ads at the same time, so we thought you might like the chance to have your own 'seller shop' on itsmymarket.com.

With your own shop, you and other users can see all your ads in one place, along with your own (optional) logo and business details. You also get a web address you can use to promote your listings, e.g. itsmymarket.com/shops/my-shop

It's completely free right now, and we're interested to know what you think. Why not set up a shop and give it a try, and be sure to contact us with your feedback, ideas and suggestions.

IMM's Great West Run

We made it, and the only casualty was Manley's inflatable lifeboat.

After weeks of inadequate training, Manley, Rowan and myself have completed our half marathon! We finished around the two-hour mark (slightly over, but we don't have a definite time yet) and as things stand we've raised just under £900 for the RNLI (and you can still sponsor us, even now we've finished!)

It turned out to be quite sunny and hot in the end, but there were plenty of water stations and also a nice family stood by the road side with their garden hose spraying passing runners.

Manley's inflatable lifeboat began to deflate within the first half a mile, but thankfully mine lasted the course and was definitely worth wearing as it got us a lot of extra encouragement from the crowds of spectators.

Thanks to everyone who sponsored us, and special thanks to Ben and Kate for their support this morning, and Brian for assuming the role of official IMM team photographer. Same time next year?

It's Time

The morning of the Great West Run is here!

Just a quick post this morning. It's just after 7am, my pre-run porridge is bubbling away on the stove and I and a few other bloggers are preparing for our respective half marathons. After all the nice weather, it's a little overcast here this morning which will be a relief to many of the runners.

Great West Run

Just four days to go until Manley, Rowan and I tackle the Great West Run half marathon...

Run, you fools!

The itsmymarket.com Running Team, Manley (pictured), Rowan and myself, are running the Great West Run this Sunday to raise money for the RNLI. The Great West Run is Exeter's annual Half Marathon, which is 13.1 miles.

What can I do to help?

That's very decent of you. So far we're a little short of our £1,000 sponsorship target. We've raised a pitiful £300. Don't let us embarrass ourselves any more than Manley and Rowan normally manage to anyway... Sponsor us at:

Can I watch?

Of course you can. We'd appreciate any encouragement as it's going to be quite hot, and the route is really, really monotonous (basically going up and down Pinhoe Road a few times). The run starts from Exeter Arena at 9:30, and after a detour round Pinhoe goes down through the city centre twice. We'll probably be running through the Southernhay and the High Street around 10:15 and again around 11:15.

Look out for us in blue t-shirts with the itsmymarket.com logo, and our names on them!
