Dubious about Dubai Flights of Fancy

Dubai or not dubai - flights of fancy

Dubai is the world's gold-plated taps.

The Palms developments in Dubai remind me of nothing so much as the many thousands of modern housing estates that you'll find in every British town.

Endless rows of more-or-less identical Barratts homes with little or no architectural merit. Only with sand and sea views.

Flights to Dubai you say - blimey there are so many carriers to choose from - the UAE is fast becoming a hub for international travel with continued rapid expansion expansion of Dubai and Abu Dhabi international airport

If I had the money to afford one of these I could afford something unique, secluded and interesting. I just don't get who buys these Dubai homes - I guess it proves that being a chav isn't about how much dosh you have.

Vans for Sale

As the Royal Mail prepare for industrial action - cost cutting begins.

The Royal Mail are in a tight spot.

Their staff aka postmen have announced that they plan on not doing their job as they approach the busiest time of year - the run up to Christmas - perhaps one of the most profitable periods for the postal service.

As onlne businesses are already announcing their intention to swap from Royal mail to other courier services you have to take your hat off to the managers how have already contacted competitors with offers to sell vans

Vans for sale

Reports of the post offices advertising their vans for sale isn't unusual - every year the Royal Mail sell a proportion of their vehicles and these are replaced by brand new vans. What is noteworthy is the targeting of local couriers who expect to pick up the lost Post Office business and will require additional drivers and vans. Usually if there is a spike in business the option to hire a van is the norm.

Van hire or used vans

Van hire companies will feel the pinch as they too expect a surge in demand at Christmas. With the prospect of many used vans flooding the market van rental busiensses are looking for new customers by running adverts to remind people that they can save a lot of money by travelling to Europe and filling a van with Christmas goodies.

Samantha Cameron Supports Marks and Spencer

High Street Dresses

The media has been practically falling over itself to cheer Samantha Cameron for supporting high steet fashion chain Marks and Spencer by choosing to wear one of their dresses at a high profile conference last week.

Samantha, who ordinarily dresses in expensive designer outfits sported a bobby dazzler of a polka dot dress.

Attetntion turned from her husband, David, when it was revealed that THAT DRESS was on sale for £65

Marks and Spencers Affordable shopping

Because everything M&S stock is their own lable and as such that is the reason they don't appear to be compared to other products on price comparison sites - as there is nothing else that matches the own brand items

Whilst looking around the shop I couldn't fail to notice the christmas goodies coming out including christmas hampers, gifts and decorations.

Christmas hampers

Amongst the piles of Christms gift ideas that bombard us at theis time of year - I have to say i was taken by this selection of hampers. Again because of the uniqueness of the products the opportunity to compare prices is limited but what is good about the page is it reveals just how many type os hampers and gift baskets are on sale - including festive Christmas hampers with imaganitive combinations of food and drink
