Petrol Prices

Petrol prices are on the drop again, thanks to a decrease in oil prices. The lowest I've found is 111.9p at Trago's in Newton Abbot - as my friend said to me, ya can't beat Trago.

Want a Flat Packed House?

Ikea have taken flat packed goods to the next level.... entire houses!

There are already 3,500 prefabricated wooden "BokLok" homes in Scandinavia and now they are building some in a development in Tyneside.

The 36 flats and 47 houses are aimed at those earning between £15 and £35k and do not already own a house. A flat costs £100k and a house £150.

I have mixed feeling about this one. As house prices are so ridiculous these days its almost impossible to get on the property ladder, so affordable housing is welcome. But.... prefabricated wooden houses? I would imagine you'll get to know your neighbours far better than you need to, bit dubious about the insulating properties of wooden houses, not to mention the perils of finding you've got a jumbo sized special Ikea screw missing.
