Things that Pop into my Head 
Apparently the South West is the place to be for industry. Doing a bit of digging about on the interwebs to see what sort of careers are available in the Sunny South West. According to the South West Regional Development Agency its bloomin marvelous for things like advanced engineering, ict, food and drink and the like. I knew that Bristol was pretty successful, but I didn't realise it was the 2nd most affluent city after London. I know SWRDA is bound to be a bit biased as that's its job - to sell the South West, but if pasty making is not for you, try nanotechnology at a Uni or boating stuff at one of the Marine Skills Centres.
