Had a leaflet drop through the door... Solar panels with free installation! Yer right Smile! Tis the dawn of renewable energy. We've got wave power, wind power, poo power and solar power sweeping the nation. It's everywhere, wind farms on the coast and a bloody huge turbine right by the M4, poo powered buildings, wave energy and more recently solar panels for the masses. As for this free installation for solar panels offer, there was no mention of the initial outlay and you only got the installation costs refunded if you allowed your home to become a show home and yours was the show home they chose for the prize. This was mentioned on the last page of the leaflet. I did get a bloke round a few years back for a quote and it was near enough 10k then and as I haven't got that sort of money lying about (and my expensive new bike is arriving on Friday woo!) I shall be sticking to gas central heating until prices drop, they are a bit more upfront about it or there are grants available. CommentsWant to comment on this blog entry?
