Things that Pop into my Head 
With the credit crunch biting, retailers are slashing prices in an attempt to persuade us to part with our hard earned cash. Rumour has it that M&S are having a one day 20% off special this Thursday, super savings can be made on a wide selection of christmas gifts or even something to wear for the office christmas party. Christmas is about the only time of year I make an effort to be a touch feminine, and if there is a good deal on perfume, then who am I to disagree? Debenhams is also having a 3 day sale. I know, its more news when they aren't having some sort of Blue Cross money off event, but I do like to peruse the departments. Apparently more people are putting off buying christmas gifts in the hope of grabbing last minute bargains. With the jobless totals likely to exceed 3 million by 2010 its not surprising we're all clutching our purses. One section that will see a rise in popularity during the recession is job sites. We'll all be glued to our computers hunting down that elusive job we'll enjoy and get paid loads doing. On the plus side, now the price of fuel has dropped, we can afford to fill up the Freelander and attend job interviews, or indeed try exotic places like Taunton to do our christmas shopping.
